Aquastone is a real stone textured material made from marble dust.  It's perfect for creating faux stone, limestone, adobe textures and dimensional stencil patterns.  Aquastone is applied with a trowel in a variety of patterns to achieve the desired effect.  A color glaze is then applied and wiped off in pouncing movements using a stipple brush to produce the natural highlights.

Aquastone finishes are beautiful in their own right, but can be especially useful to cover old pitted walls or outdated wallpaper.
